I Ching - O Livro das Mutações








14 The Great Possession heaven below, fire above
Great possession is great success.

In great possession, flexibility is in an importante position. (...) Its qualities are firm strength and civilized intelligence. It responds to nature and acts according to the time (...) means realizing a multitude of enlightening practices within one mind, using celestial action as the substance from which to produce the functions of innocent and compassionate actions.
Leaders obey nature and accept its order by stopping the bad and promoting the good.
(...) firm and strong, but not excessively so. It is also in the body of fire, which represents understanding being clear and negating self-inflation, so that one can work for enlightened leadership.
Good fortune that is a blessing from heaven is beneficial to all.
What is easy and needs no preparation is the obedience of balanced flexibility; the mutuality of trust is the trust of balanced flexibility; being the resort of all positive forces is balanced, flexible respect for the wise.
(...) the sage has no success, the spiritual human has no name.
In terms of progressive practice of educational method (...) taking up:
- the study of discipline, whereby one does not associate with aberrated mental states.
- the study of concentration, whereby one includes all truths in meditation without fail.
- the study of knowledge, whereby one can get through to the ruler.
- the teaching of universal relativity, according to which everything is conditional and has no inherent being of its own.
- the teaching of through which the countless varieties of suffering and release are studied.
- the method of complete teaching, where the whole of nature produces development culture and the completion of culture is in nature.
